                                                                              Lesson 50. वृद्धिसन्धिः

Here we go a step further. We add अ/आ to the गुण to give us a वृद्धि ।
These are the rules to follow:

Sl No First word ending in Add Next word beginning  with Eqls Results in
     1           अ/आ   +              ए/ऐ   =        ऐ
     2           अ/आ   +             ओ/औ   =        औ
 
Here are examples for each of them:
1. एक + एकम्  =  एकैकम्
2. तस्य + ओदनः  = तस्यौदनः
