With the blessings
of our sacred Guru Parampara and Param Poojya Parijnanashram Swamiji III , the
first link in Sadhana Shrinkhala –the spiritual chain that will reinforce
our Sadhana and will continue all through the Tercentenary Year- began at the
sacred place – Shri Devi Durga Parameshwari Temple, Karla, from the 3rd
of February 2008. Param Poojya Sadyojat
Shankarashram Swamiji was present at Karla on the 7th – the final
day, when the Guru Jyoti was lit. The
hall reverberated with the chanting of the shlokas as devotees performed the
Samuhik Devi Anushthan.
The
second link of the sacred chain was taken up by the devotees of Mulund. On the 10th of February,
Dr. Gajanan Mankikar, Chief Coordinator, Sadhana Shrinkhala, took the
Sankalp at the sacred Bandikeri Math, Gokarn,
on behalf of the Saraswat Samaj and then devotees proceeded with Navaratra
Nityapath and Devi Anushthan. Shri Guru Pujan, Shri Shiva Pujan and Shri Devi
Pujan were done by devotees on the three days.
Dadar Sabha followed
next. Pune Sabha was the fourth in this link. Going across to Gujarat, Ahmedabad
continued the Sadhana Shrinkhala
From the rocky
terrain of Hyderabad, it was the palm fringed, little coastal town of Honnavar
that took up the baton next. From a tiny town, the lamp of Sadhana Shrinkhala
flew across the seven seas to Australia!! Dombivali simultaneously
undertook the programme.
From one Sabha to
another, the spiritual link continues to grow and glow………..reaching out to
various places, lighting the lamp of devotion as it wends its way through the
Tercentenary Year!
