Our
fifth Guru - Shrimat Keshavashrama Swamiji The fifth Swami is Shrimat Keshavashrama from the Talgeri family. He was ordained five years before the Guru Swamiji H.H. Shrimat Shankarashram Swamiji II attained Mahasamadhi. He was a great administrator and acquired landed property for the Math. He personally supervised the management of the Math during His spare time. His regime lasted for 42 years during which He consolidated the Math and the Community and weaned away many of our people from the Vaishnav practice. He attained Mahasamadhi in 1823 and His samadhi stands at the right hand corner in the line of samadhis at Chitrapur.
